How to play
Letters come off the magazine one at a time. Touch a column of the well, or press its number, and the letter falls to the lowest free cell.
Any row or column that reads as a word of four letters or more is cast: it clears, and whatever was above it falls. A four-letter word is worth 10 points, five 25, six 50, seven 90. A word the fall makes on its own is worth half as much again.
The wand is a blank matrix: it stands for whichever letter makes a line read, like the blank tile in Scrabble. If a line could read more than one way, the longest word wins, and the wand takes the first letter in alphabetical order that fits. One comes every 20 letters on easy, 25 on normal, 30 on hard. The example above casts with one.
You can see the next three letters. Hold puts the letter in hand aside, and pressing it again swaps the two back; Discard throws a letter away, a few times a day. The day ends when the magazine runs out or the well fills.
